A: We’re a coalition of residents, workers, and local leaders who support smart, responsible growth across the Coastal Bend. Our mission is to advocate for energy and infrastructure projects that bring jobs, strengthen the tax base, and protect public safety and the environment. VCBE is being sponsored and supported by the Energy Equipment and Infrastructure Alliance (EEIA). EEIA is a 501(c)(6) trade association that supports suppliers of construction, equipment, and materials and services for energy production and infrastructure.
Q: Why is responsible energy development important to the Coastal Bend?
A: Energy and industrial projects have long been cornerstones of the Coastal Bend economy. When done responsibly, these projects:
